This link to You tube shows Kieran and Oma working away with his new little tool kit. He is 22 months old but has been introduced to tools in my shop from the beginning and now he has his own tools.
Over the weekend we went into the shop together and did some real hammering and he helped drill some holes with my chordless drill too. I am hopeful that he will grow up thinking it is cool to make stuff. That pattern of thinking is set early and it is one that his parents and I hope to instill deeply.
